Interim Women
Interim Women is a
business network that aims to be the first point of contact for
women who work as interims or who want to work as interims. Interim
Women, was launched in 2008 by Russam GMS, an award-wining UK
Interim Management Provider in the UK.
The organisation supports women working as
Interim Managers and aims to attract new Interims into the
industry.
Virtually all the Interim Provider community
report that there is a shortage of women working in Interim
Management and this is something that Interim Women would like to
address by promoting Interim Management as an attractive career
option for women.
Interim Women holds a number of activities for
female Interims. Its services include:
- Regular business and networking events held in London and
regionally across the UK
- A mentoring service for new Interim Managers
- It publishes regular market research about topical industry
issue
- It runs promotions and offers from partner organisations
- It publishes news and success stories from Interim
Managers
- A Linked In networking site
The Advisory Panel
Interim Women is run by an Advisory Panel of experienced female
Interims who offer their time, free of charge, to supporting the
aims of Interim Women.
The Panel's purpose is:
- To oversee the activities of the Interim Women network
- To monitor developments and events affecting Interim
professionals
- To help organise networking forums and functions
- To promote the interests of Interim Women
- To review and refresh the Interim Women website
- To develop and grow the Interim Women community
