ACCORD

ACCORD is a certified, independent Trade Union, affiliated to the TUC and dedicated to representing members in all parts of the HBOS Group including Intelligent Finance, HBOS Life and Pensions, Card Services, the insurance divisions and contact centres as well as Corporate Sites and the retail network.

ACCORD is funded only by members' subscriptions and is not affiliated to any political party. ACCORD aim to be their members' best friend in the increasingly uncertain world of work and campaign for:

• Job security
• Fair reward
• Dignity at work

As well as negotiating with the employers on these issues, the Union also provides advice, support and guidance to individual members who experience difficulties at work.

• Death (up to £12,500)
• Loss of limb/eye, permanent and total loss of speech (up to £25,000)
• Permanent and total loss of hearing (up to £25,000)
• Permanent total disablement (up to £25,000)

Members can also extend your ACCORD policy to cover your spouse/partner and children from as little as £2.46 per unit (Including insurance premium tax at 5%).
